| Welcome to the Paddling Partners of Saulteaux Voyageur Trail Club's Home Page / Paddling Assumption of Risk Agreement | ||||
| This informal group provides companionship to one another when we go paddling. (There is safety in numbers you know!) If you plan on participating, please be advised that you do so AT YOUR OWN RISK and will be asked to sign an Assumption of Risk Agreement. As paddlers, we are all subject to the whims of the wind and water so any outing listed here may change as it draws closer, or may be cancelled / rescheduled at the last minute. Always pre-register with the leader so you can be notified if things change. These are NOT guided tours or paddling lessons. Each paddler is responsible for their own well being. We are a group of individuals paddling together. For safety's sake for the WHOLE GROUP, all paddlers must WEAR a PFD, have in your boat one buoyant heaving line (15m), a bailer, paddles, a whistle and kayakers must have a paddle float and a spare paddle. Bring your own drinking water, food, sunscreen and a hat. A, map and compass are always welcome. Any person under the age of 18 MUST be in the company of a parent or guardian.
